My brother davesmusictank arrives this afternoon and will stay until Friday. It will be good to see him again. I have some skinless and boneless chicken thighs that I will pan fry in olive oil and then cook in a tikka masala sauce, serving with basmati rice. That will do for dinner ( Read more... )

Dave and I met up with Graeme today at The Juggs Inn, Kingston for another superb lunch. There is however two people always missing: Ros and Anne. They too loved The Juggs Inn.

Graem and I had:
Tandoori roasted haddock loin
With saag aloo and a refreshing cucumber, smashed garlic and ginger salad.

Ros and I entertained our neighbour Amelia yesterday with lunch at The Juggs Inn, Kingston. It would have been her 52nd wedding anniversary although her husband died almost six years ago. She doesn't get out much and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. The weather was fine, clear blue sky and 6⁰C.

Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch? I enjoyed one yesterday courtesy of the Shepherd-Neame Birthday Club, at The Juggs Inn at Kingston. My choice was the usual beer-battered cod, peas, chips and tartare sauce.

The weather is reasonable, partly cloudy with occasional sunshine and midday temperature to reach 16⁰C. Combined with the luxury of a full tank of petrol, Ros and I are booked to have lunch today at The Juggs Inn at Kingston, one of our favourite locations.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Juggs Inn, Kingston. My choice was inevitable: either fish and chips or ham, eggs and chips. The former got selected as the beer battered cod, peas and triple cooked chips are so tasty here. Lovely fresh fish with a small dish of tartare sauce.
